ignosis TCG — Payments & Stripe Connect Agreement
Effective date: July 12, 2026 Operated by: ignosis LLC ("ignosis", "we", "us").
This Payments & Stripe Connect Agreement ("Payments Terms") is part of, and incorporated into, the ignosis TCG Terms of Service. It applies to Merchants who accept payments through the Service. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
1. Payment processing by Stripe
Payment processing on the Service is provided by Stripe and is subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement (which includes the Stripe Services Agreement), as may be updated by Stripe (the "Stripe Agreement"). To accept payments, you must: 1. create or connect a Stripe account, and 2. agree to the Stripe Agreement as part of onboarding.
By using payments on the Service, you authorize ignosis to share data with Stripe and to instruct Stripe to process transactions, fees, refunds, and payouts as described here. If there is a conflict between these Payments Terms and the Stripe Agreement regarding Stripe's processing, the Stripe Agreement governs your relationship with Stripe.
2. ignosis's role
ignosis is a technology platform, not a payment processor, money transmitter, or bank. ignosis does not take possession of your sales proceeds. Sales are processed as destination charges to your connected Stripe account; Stripe pays out to you on Stripe's schedule and under the Stripe Agreement.
3. Application (platform) fee
For each sale, ignosis collects an application fee calculated on the merchandise subtotal (not on pass-through shipping):
- Free tier: 8%
(or the rate shown in your store settings). The application fee is deducted automatically at the time of the charge. Fees may change as described in the Terms of Service.
4. Eligibility, verification, and prohibited businesses
Stripe performs identity/business verification ("KYC") and may require information from you. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You may not use the Service for any business or activity prohibited by the Stripe Agreement or by law. ignosis may decline, suspend, or remove payment functionality if you do not meet these requirements or if Stripe restricts your account.
5. Onboarding-incomplete gating
Until your connected Stripe account is fully onboarded and enabled to accept charges (charges_enabled), your storefront may not be able to take orders. You are responsible for completing Stripe onboarding.
6. Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes
- You are responsible for refunds you issue and for chargebacks and disputes raised by
your Customers, including any fees Stripe assesses for them.
- Refunds you issue are processed against your connected account. Where ignosis previously
collected an application fee on a refunded order, the treatment of that fee follows the configuration in the Service and the Stripe Agreement.
- If your available balance is insufficient to cover refunds, chargebacks, or fees, Stripe
and/or ignosis may offset or recover those amounts as permitted by the Stripe Agreement and applicable law.
7. Reserves and holds
Stripe may place reserves, holds, or payout delays on your account under the Stripe Agreement (for example, due to risk or dispute activity). ignosis does not control these.
8. Shipping label charges
When you purchase a shipping label through the Service, you authorize ignosis to charge your payment method on file for the carrier rate plus a $0.50 per-label service fee (or as shown). If the label purchase fails after the charge, the charge is refunded. You must keep a valid payment method on file to purchase labels. See the Shipping & Fulfillment section of the Terms of Service.
9. Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting all taxes on your sales. ignosis does not calculate, collect, file, or remit taxes for you.
10. Authorizations
You authorize ignosis to instruct Stripe to: create charges to your connected account with the application fee; process refunds you initiate; and charge your payment method for shipping labels and related service fees — all as described in these Payments Terms and the Stripe Agreement.
11. Suspension of payments
ignosis may suspend or disable payment functionality for breach of these Payments Terms or the Terms of Service, suspected fraud, risk to the Service, or at Stripe's direction.
12. Changes
We may update these Payments Terms (including fees) on reasonable notice as described in the Terms of Service. Stripe may independently update the Stripe Agreement.
